For years I thought photography was about learning to see.
Then I noticed something.
Two photographers could stand in the same place, at the same time, with the same camera…
…and make completely different photographs.
That question stayed with me.
I stopped asking, ‘How did they take that?’
And started asking, ‘Why did they choose that moment?’”
