So there you are , taking photos and ones that you are happy with, you really like them.
Then you start doubting yourself..and the questions are loud in your head
Is it good enough?
Will anyone else like it ?
and the worst one:
What will other photographers think ?
You look at other people’s work and suddenly yours doesn’t seem as good anymore, so you leave it on your phone/camera roll/laptop editing software OR you post it online and keep checking to see if anyone has liked it or shared it
Somewhere along the way photography stops being something that you can do because you love it, and it becomes something you do to prove you are good enough .
What if you could change that ?
What if you could take a photo simple because something caught your eye?
Just because you loved the light falling on across the wall
Just because the colours made you stop
Just because something ordinary suddenly looked extraordinary to you
All without wondering whether anyone else would understand or needing their approval
Give yourself permission to create and keep some space for your own way of seeing without wanting to stop caring about photography
that’s why I created this 7 day practice which helped me slow down, trust my own photography instincts and to finally notice what drew me in
7 small practices, on your camera or phone, no pressure to create something perfect, no need to share
Just a chance to find your way back to photographing for yourself
If you are tired of second guessing what you see, I would love for you to join my 7 day mini course

That photo is me in a gallery in Cornwall with one of my photos of the inside of a limpet shell, which to me is like the vastness of space, which I won’t get to see in my lifetime from a rocket, but it’s there in my imagination, and in tiny shells found on the beach.
