Many midlife women feel forgotten by traditional fitness — expected to do more, try harder, and push through fatigue, even when their body is clearly asking for something different.

This free 4-week course is a softer alternative.

It’s designed for women who need:

a calm place to move

simple, supportive guidance

permission to go gently

and reassurance that they’re not broken

What this course is:

This is a free 4-week live Pilates course based on my Safe Start Pilates approach

Each session is:

30 minutes & beginner-friendly

Focused on calming the nervous system first

There are no planks, sit-ups, or push-ups, and no pressure to perform or keep up.

This is about meeting your body where it is — exactly as it is today.

Who this is for?

This course is for you if:

- you’re a midlife woman feeling exhausted or overwhelmed

- exercise has started to feel like “too much”

- your body feels sensitive, tired, or easily stressed

- you want gentle movement without judgement or perfection


You don’t need motivation.


You don’t need to change anything about yourself

Everyone’s experience is different, but many women notice:

- feeling calmer in their body

- more ease with gentle movement

- a sense of safety and acceptance

- small moments of energy returning

There are no promised transformations — just space to begin again, slowly.

Hi, I'm Mel Collie

I’ve been teaching Pilates since 2009

and now specialise in working

with exhausted midlife women

who need a gentler way to move

My teaching has evolved

through lived experience,

nervous system sensitivity,

and a deep belief that acceptance

and safety come before strength

This work is personal —

and it’s offered with care

At the end of the 4 weeks, I’ll share an optional invitation to continue into a longer 12-week course for those who feel it’s the right next step.
