Reconnect To Yourself:

The Calm Practice

The Calm Practice

My 4 Week FREE Course

A gentle way to slow your mind,

soften your body, and reconnect through mindful photography

A gentle way to slow your mind,

soften your body, and reconnect through mindful photography

A place to pause, notice, and practice calm, in a way that fits real life.

Begins:

Saturday

February 28th

10am

WHO THIS IS FOR?

  • If you feel mentally busy, distracted, or constantly " on"

  • If you are pulled in many directions by work, family, responsibilities.

  • If you feel like calm is something other people seem to have time for

  • Are you creatively blocked, tired, disconnected from your self?

  • Maybe drawn to photography, noticing or quiet moments, even if you don't call yourself

    " creative"

A Gentle Reframe

Calm isn't something you arrive at...

It's something you practice, briefly, imperfectly, kindly.

In this work, photography isn't about taking better photos.

It's about seeing differently

Seeing light. Seeing colour. Seeing texture. Seeing yourself.

WHAT THE CALM PRACTICE IS

The Calm Practice is a 4 week live online experience

held via Zoom

Each week offers:

  • A live gentle Saturday 10am teaching & practice session

  • Simple body based grounding ( breath, orienting, rest)

  • Mindful photography prompts using your camera, or phone

  • Space to reflect without pressure to share

  • Thursday Morning Q & A live session for support

The rhythm is steady, and predictable so your nervous system knows what to expect

The Rhythm

( How It Works)

  • Saturday morning live sessions take place at

10am - 11.00 am when the pace is slower

  • Grounding practices

  • Mindful photography themes

  • Gentle creative Invitations

  • Thursday Q & A

  • Private group away from social media ( optional)

  • Sunday - optional sharing day in the private group. A soft invitation to share a photo, reflection, no critique no pressure

  • Replays are available if you cannot make the live sessions.

What You'll Practice

  • Over 4 weeks you will gently explore:

    • Awareness of breath, in minutes, not long meditations

    • Orienting to the room, light, senses

    • Calming the body practices

    • Letting go of perfection, editing, and getting it right

    • Photographing colour, texture, simplicity

What This Is Not

  • This is not:

    • A photography skills course

    • A productivity programme

    • A performance based group

    • Therapy or emotional processing

    You are always in charge.

What People Often Notice

  • Participants often tell me they feel

    • Calmer & less rushed

    • More present in everyday moments

    • Gently reconnected to creativity

    • More trusting in themselves

    • Able to pause instead of pushing through

Nothing dramatic

Just quiet meaningful shifts
