Healthy Hands, Better Art

January 11, 20252 min read

Preventing strain to the hands should be on every artists agenda to enhance creative output.

Complaints like RSI and Carpal Tunnel are way too common amongst computer users, artists and creative people, because we use our hands a LOT

Editing images can take its toll on our hands and fingers, shoulder, neck and jaw

Tapping away at the keyboard editing a website or social media input all adds up over time

Prolonged use of cameras, art brushes, sketching pencils, sewing, knitting, crochet , pottery, origami and many more arts and crafts we love to practice involves a huge amount of finger use, wrist movement, neck bending and curved spines.

Is it hard work though?

Improving flexibility and strength doesn't have to be tricky, it can be calming, relaxing and gentle.
